Got one of my Christmas presents already. My friend Dennis gave me a 3.1 megapixel HP Photosmart 435 digital camera. He gave it to me early because I'm going on vacation next week, and I would've asked to borrow his. This camera is actually better than his =P. Now I'll be able to include pictures with my occasional blog entries.

Been having fun with Half-Life 2. The graphics are amazing, and it runs surprisingly well on my comp for how good it looks. I think I like it better than Doom3 since it's not so god damn dark.

Thank God for Black Friday...

Picked me up a copy of Half-Life 2 for $35, a $240 pair of Polk Audio floor standing speakers for a mere $80, a 50 pack of 52x CD-R's for $3.50, and two movies (The Client, and Blade Runner) for $3.85 each. Had to stay up all night and go to Wal-Mart from 4am-8am, and then to Fry's Electronics for 2 hours, an hour of it was just waiting in a line to check out, which stretched all the way around the warehouse size store.

Another relatively boring weekend so far

Watched my friend Dennis' kids for a few hours today. Watched the movie "Matchstick Men". Pretty decent movie, nice twist at the end. Downloaded NFSU2. My damn PS2 controller is causing problems with it though, so if I can't fix it, I'm probably going to have to settle for my Microsoft Sidewinder to play it. I hate using the keyboard for racing games. Finally sat down and learned a very small amount of PHP today. Seems to be pretty easy so far. I might re-code the G:A site in PHP for some practice before I try messing too much with MS. Stacy called and talked for about 10 minutes tonight. Things should pick up tomorrow. The Nintendo DS comes out =). I have one pre-ordered, and a friend of a friend is getting me another one with his associate discount at Circuit City, which I'll then sell on eBay. Hopefully I can get ~$200 for it. Only two more weeks until I go back to Washington for vacation. I'm really looking forward to it. I wonder if all these vacations mean I'm thinking of going back...

What the hell is with women...

My friend Stacy called me up Saturday night. Neither of us were really talking, we just said hi, and there was a bunch of silence and she commented about how I wasn't very talkative tonight. What the hell? She called me. Isn't she the one who's supposed to have something to talk about? The guys job is to listen, girls normally rattle on for hours about an endless amount of subjects. Not Stacy though.... I don't know how she missed inheriting that gene. Her mom talks quite a bit. I told her I'd call her back after I was done watching a movie, which was almost over, and while I was watching it I'd think of something to talk about. 15 minutes later when I called, she doesn't pick up. Go figure....

Yay, another weekend to be wasted...

Weekends are far too short. They come and go as if they never even existed, and then the week seems to drag on forever. Ah well.

Some good news, got approved for yet another vacation. This time I'll be going to WA December 3rd through the 12th. My brothers 21st birthday is on the 5th, so I'm going up there as sort of a surprise. I just have to get a hold of his roomate without my brother knowing...which may be difficult. I can't believe how much vacation time I'm getting now. This will be my 3rd week of paid vacation this year O_O. My plane ticket was extremely cheap to, only $165 for round-trip.

Can't wait for next weekend. Me and my friend Dennis are thinking of waiting outside of a Circuit City so he can get his NintendoDS when it opens up on Sunday. Circuit City doesn't do pre-orders, and he's using a giftcard. Then we'll pick mine up at EB Games, and I'll kick his ass at Metroid.

I've about given up on Stefanie. She never comes through when we make plans to hang out, and she doesn't call to let me know she's not going to make it. She hasn't talked to Stacy since June or July, and they used to be really good friends. I don't know what the hell is wrong with her. One day she wants to get a house with me, the next she won't talk to me.
