Merry Christmas
Went to my friend Dennis' house tonight, as well as a few of his relatives. They sang carols in front of peoples houses as I sat in the car. Hell if I'm going to sing in public, let alone Christmas carols. Didn't get much as far as presents yet. FF 1+2 for GBA, the movie "Seven", and a spider-man fleece blanket. I'm collecting so much spider-man crap people are going to think I'm obsessed =/. Tomorrow I'll be heading back to his house in the morning for breakfast, then off to the movies, either to watch The Fockers, or Spanglish. Later that day I'll be going to my best friends, girlfriends grandparents house to open more presents and eat dinner. Hopefully there will be enough time in the day for my friend Shane to drop by. He's here on Christmas vacation from Los Angeles...or somewhere near there. Got a package in the mail from my parents. A spider-man 2005 calender, and $25.
The other day I bought a 2.5" USB external HDD enclosure, and tore the 6GB drive out of my old Creative Nomad that I haven't used for years. It will serve much better as a portable hard drive. The enclosure was only $15, and came with a $15 mail-in rebate, so can't beat something for free. Windows didn't show it in My Computer at first, even though it said it detected the device. Found out I had to use the "Manage" option when you right-click My Computer to initialize the drive and create a partition. I wonder why Creative didn't use FAT32.... It'd be cool to install Linux or something on it.
