Merry Christmas

Went to my friend Dennis' house tonight, as well as a few of his relatives. They sang carols in front of peoples houses as I sat in the car. Hell if I'm going to sing in public, let alone Christmas carols. Didn't get much as far as presents yet. FF 1+2 for GBA, the movie "Seven", and a spider-man fleece blanket. I'm collecting so much spider-man crap people are going to think I'm obsessed =/. Tomorrow I'll be heading back to his house in the morning for breakfast, then off to the movies, either to watch The Fockers, or Spanglish. Later that day I'll be going to my best friends, girlfriends grandparents house to open more presents and eat dinner. Hopefully there will be enough time in the day for my friend Shane to drop by. He's here on Christmas vacation from Los Angeles...or somewhere near there. Got a package in the mail from my parents. A spider-man 2005 calender, and $25.

The other day I bought a 2.5" USB external HDD enclosure, and tore the 6GB drive out of my old Creative Nomad that I haven't used for years. It will serve much better as a portable hard drive. The enclosure was only $15, and came with a $15 mail-in rebate, so can't beat something for free. Windows didn't show it in My Computer at first, even though it said it detected the device. Found out I had to use the "Manage" option when you right-click My Computer to initialize the drive and create a partition. I wonder why Creative didn't use FAT32.... It'd be cool to install Linux or something on it.

I've been up too long tonight...

Still transferring MS files. Yay...

Stacy called me Saturday night. I wasn't going to say anything to her about standing me up unless she mentioned it. She didn't say anything about it at first, just talked about what I was doing, about me working that night, etc. Then she said something about how she was sorry she didn't show on Friday night, but she had been tired after work. I asked her why she didn't call me and let me know she wasn't coming, but she didn't really give me an answer, just kept making excuses about how she didn't have her phone at work, and when she got home she went straight to bed. I wanted to tell her that I'd waited around for 5 or 6 hours for her to show up or call, and if she would've called, I wouldn't have been so mad, because at least I could've spent time with other friends. I get like 2.5 days a week to hang out with friends, and when someone just wastes one, it's going to make me angry. She didn't understand why I was mad, and I don't understand why she doesn't understand. Now I've probably just made her mad at me, and it'll be some time before we talk again...hopefully not too long, it's nearly Christmas.

Stood up yet again...

This time Stacy was supposed to hang out with me tonight. No call, no show. Ah well, on the bright side, I got nearly all my gift wrapping done with. Also went and saw Ocean's Twelve today. Pretty decent movie, just as good as the prequel. After that, I went to my best friends graduation. He graduated from Arizona State University, with a bachelors degree in Communications. I personally think a Communications degree is completely worthless, but I guess that'd be a little hypocritical of me since I have no degree at all. It just seems to me that everyone that's going to college purely for the sake of going to college goes and gets a communications degree.

One last thing. Finally sold my other Nintendo DS. It sold for $182.49. Take away about $7 from that for Ebay's fee, and I have a profit of $15.49. Obviously not really a worthwhile investment, not as much as I thought anyways. I was expecting to sell it for $200+. I'm hoping the PSP will sell better, as I plan on getting an extra one of them as well.

Here's what too much alchohol gets you...

Brother just had his 21st birthday on the 5th. He drank a little too much that night, and the next morning, while going to get something to eat, had to throw up (for the 10th time or so that morning). Well, his roommate pulled the car over, and while he was throwing up, he passed out, and fell right onto the asphalt (and his own bile). Now look at him...
